  After eight Saw films in the franchise, it was about time another company came forward and gave us something new. Not that I don't like the Saw films, they’re good to crack out on Halloween, but the concept is just a little predictable now.
  
   
  
  Thankfully there’s a new movie coming out with the same sort of vibe as Saw but a more fresh and updated version. It’s called Escape Room and the film centres on five people who get trapped in one of those immersive escape rooms and have to escape before it kills them. Check out the trailer:
  
  
  
  It’s kind of like a fucked up crystal Maze. It looks pretty decent but I’m a bit of a pussy with torture movies these days. Give me a rom-com any day! It’s out January 2019 if you’re interested.

  It reminds me a bit of The Cube, now that was a fucking brilliant movie. Think I might go back and watch that again.

  yeah the cube was really good i seen that ages ago, and 2 of my biggest fears is drowning or being burned alive, so that first clip where the whole room was one big oven was crazy to me, goto see this movie looks really good

  I only got into Saw for the first time this year and ended up enjoying it far more than I thought I would. Watched them all in just over a month. Have never really watched that genre before. Think I will give this a go when it comes out and check out the Cube now also.

  yeah the first time i saw saw i was shocked what a evil movie, but very good up until i think the 4th saw movie, then i think they should of just stopped at 4 but they kept going on, a cube 2 would be welcome

  I thought I would get bored of them quickly, if like them at all Dony. But I actually quite enjoyed them even up to the most recent one last year. Some of the tests are getting a bit samey, but the underlying story I actually quite like.
