What makes this such a good result though is Christian Eriksen scoring two goals and seemingly back on form! I think he's been pure class since joining Spurs, although I thought he was class at Ajax too! He seemed to fit in to the Premier League so well. Spurs will need him at his best if they're going to secure a top four finish, which is looking very likely.Too right - thoroughly deserved that win particularly as we let ourselves down against Leicester. Poch has done amazing things this season, firstly getting Alderweireld in was a masterstroke as we look so much more solid defensively, and the stats say it all. We shipped in loads last season (53) with Lloris as keeper!! Also putting Alli in the first team, i knew he was talented (via Youtube) but he has taken his opportunity with both hands, and shown maturity and a bit of steel. Getting rid of the dross (including Andros) the squad feels stronger. The resurgence of Lamela - finally looks like a slice of the player we thought he could be. The future looks very bright for Spurs with the crop of young talent bubbling under in the youth ranks and the one i'm looking forward too see the most Alex Pritchard.
A class performance from a class team! :)
