Tottenham 0-1 Leicester! Bloody hilarious! Spurs seemed the better team all night and yet they lose? lmao! This game seemed to come down to a Spurs error and they got punished. All the key game stats where in their favour, but the fact is one mistake can undue all of that. Mauricio Pochettino felt his team were unlucky and that they deserved more? Sorry mate, you got what you deserved, nothing! Avoidance of error is critical in football! Spurs still look good for a top four Premier League finish though!
Spurs have lost three games out of twenty one! That's still a very good statistic indeed :) -

Anyone care to explain how tottenham managed to lose that game against leicester? like seriously... nevertheless mauricio pochettino has done a great job with that team this season but all I want to see is how long leicester can stay up there near the top for...surely their run has to come to an end soon -

Tottenham 4-1 Sunderland! That was a very dominant game from Spurs and they certainly deserved this high scoring victory! What makes this such a good result though is Christian Eriksen scoring two goals and seemingly back on form! I think he's been pure class since joining Spurs, although I thought he was class at Ajax too! He seemed to fit in to the Premier League so well. Spurs will need him at his best if they're going to secure a top four finish, which is looking very likely.
A class performance from a class team! :) -

Too right - thoroughly deserved that win particularly as we let ourselves down against Leicester. Poch has done amazing things this season, firstly getting Alderweireld in was a masterstroke as we look so much more solid defensively, and the stats say it all. We shipped in loads last season (53) with Lloris as keeper!! Also putting Alli in the first team, i knew he was talented (via Youtube) but he has taken his opportunity with both hands, and shown maturity and a bit of steel. Getting rid of the dross (including Andros) the squad feels stronger.The resurgence of Lamela - finally looks like a slice of the player we thought he could be. The future looks very bright for Spurs with the crop of young talent bubbling under in the youth ranks and the one i'm looking forward too see the most Alex Pritchard.

Leicester are a chickenshit team sometimes it seems. Defend like fuck and throw the odd counterattack and grab a cheeky goal. Robert Huth may have scored that winning goal against us a couple of games ago but if he was any good then he wouldnt be playing for Leicester would he :D Sick of all these friggin players who dont score, scoring against us! :( -

Leicester 0-2 Tottenham FA Cup! I think this was a very good away result for Spurs! I thought it was nice to have Leicester reminded that they're not really a top four team! I think this game showed that Spurs have a stronger overall squad and are better able to compete in multiple competitions. Spurs are clearly fighting for a Champions League place. I also think Spurs are quite capable of fighting for the FA Cup. What I like so much about this Spurs team is that it's so young. The players clearly have more potential to unlock!
Praising Spurs is getting a habit, just like wanking :) -

Do you reckon they're still holding out for Berahino? I know it got a bit heated in the summer, but right now surely a bid of say £10m + Andros Townsend would make so much sense for all parties?
That way no-one loses face backing down from ridiculous valuation of players that aren't playing (we can all agree Berahino is probably worth £10m more than Townsend) and both sides are improved.
Or is it too obvious to happen? -

Well the way i see it is i reckon Daniel Levy thinks the W Brom chairman is a cunt and would be reluctant to go back there and try to sign Berahino for a stupid amount given he isnt worth over 20m anymore. Then again i might be completely wrong and we might end up paying over the odds for him given the interest from other clubs. Personally i hope we sign him for a decent price and he gets back to scoring goals and no more bench warming. Still gutted over Austin mind you :(
Weve also been linked with this Barcelona youngster so that may end up being our new striker... i hope we sign somebody for fuck sake!
The whole thing with offering 10m plus Townsend would work more in W Broms favour given Townsend is worth around the 14m mark (apparently) and Berahino aint been played for months.. so again spending that much might be a bit of a joke for a player who has shown disregard for his club and hasnt been playing. Plus theres the whole thing of would Townsend wanna move to a smaller club. I personally couldnt see Townsend wanting to go to the likes of W Brom and fighting for Premier League survival each season. Wouldnt do his England chances any good would it.
I think the whole 10m plus Townsend is a bit too much. But i might just be wrong. If it was me then id try to sign Berahino for maybe 15m and let Townsend join a bigger club. Or even keep Townsend! -

Townsend's not been playing much either and I really can't see anyone paying £14m. Think Newcastle gave up at about £10m? Reckon he would go to West Brom if the offer was there as well. Mid-table (they're not really relegation scrappers) football is better than no football with the Euros around the corner, Tony Pulis loves a winger and if he impresses there's always a chance a bigger club will come in for him later.
