It's good. It's really good. Cruise comfortably slips back into this iconic role, like he puts on his classic leather biker jacket. Teller and Kilmer are brilliant in their supporting roles as the emotional core of the film. The rest of the ensemble cast from veterans like Hamm, Harris, Parnell and Salahuddin, to the youngsters like Parnell, Barbaro, Pullman, Ellis, Ramirez and Davis are all great. The romantic subplot with Connolly is smooth. Kosinski, Zimmer and Bruckheimer are amazing as the director, composer and producer. The core plot is simply dramatic and a tension filled mission all the way to the end. I'm ready to buy a ticket for the final film in the trilogy, Top Gun Rooster when it's released in 2060 LOL.
