  Got to love value for money in the £45 rrp era we're enjoying.

  If counterstrike (1998-1999) is still considered this generation, then that, by a clear mile.
  Along with the original Half-Life games.
  
  1) Counter-Strike 1.6 & Half-Life
  2) Final Fantasy 7
  3) Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas
  4) Pokemon Blue, Red, Silver, Gold
  5) Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare
  
  
  Picked that games that revolutionized gaming, more than the ones that are physically the best graphics etc.
  All of them games had such a huge impact on their genres, although I was tempted to put GTA3 instead of San Andreas.

  1) Mass Effect 2
  2) Deus Ex Revolution
  3) Fallout
  4) Battlefield 3
  5) World of Warcraft

  jesus christ this thread makes me feel old thinking about the games i started playing back in the day like doom and then the quake series and starcraft etc,
  
  now it's all those fancy new kids with their assassin's creeds lol

  grand theft auto vice city
  gran tourismo 5
  fifa 12
  tekken tag
  need for speed underground
  
  well lets not my all time top 5 as that would take me a long long long tiiiimeee loool

  1) TF2
  2) Half Life Ep 2
  3) Gears of War
  4) Fallout 3
  5) Call of Duty 4
  
  Gotta say TF2 in my eyes is the best online FPS of all time.

  It's too difficult.....
  1. Halo Reach
  2. Battlefield 3
  3. Street Fighter IV
  4. Portal 2
  5. Dead Space 2
  
  I'd probably go back and write a totally different list in about 20 minutes, there's just too many awesome and well written games to choose from.
  
  The saddest moment of the year in gaming though has to go to Gears of War 3.. R.I.P. Dom :-( lol

  hard for me cause the lot decent games pass few years so top 5 i dont know if i cud narrow it down but i give it a try ' for me the games that have stud out ' based on enjoyment ' graphics ' gameplayer story etc...
  
  in no pacticuler order
  
  1. Call Of Duty 4
  2. Mass Effect Series (1.2 & cant wait for 3)
  3. Assassins Creed Series
  4. Dead Space 1 & 2
  5. Tom Clancy Games ' / splinter Cell 's Radiobow 6's etc..
  
  the few i left out that could go in that list like said lol was hard to narrow it down to a top 5 lol.

  omg its goto be mario kart number 1then number 2 mario 64 3golden eye n64 then 4 gta san andreas and mnumber 5 modern waare 3 that my to 5 games of all time butthrsalotof game si like just as much as those i listd

  Golden eye on n64 was definetely an adictive game. along with the pokemon games on the old game boy colour. wow it seems like just yesterday but these games are legendary.
