  Nobody knew how patient City's shiek's would be. Malaga is another one, they're loaded but where are they? Money does not guarantee you success, you have to appoint the right staff and sign the right players. A fantastic example here is when Liverpool spent £100m on Carroll, Downing, Adam & Henderson...
  
  You could even make a case that City havn't even been successful themselves, they've spent close to £1b in about 6 years and only have 1 league, 1 cup and 1 league cup to show for it and even then they only won that league on goal difference.

  The Olympiakos game was very telling in terms of squad quality and why the decline has been so sudden post fergie. They won the game, but the best player on the pitch was in his forties.

  I have to say a dismal season in all. I'm sure this has been reiterated by everyone everywhere but I'm not sure what can be done. I mean getting rid of Moyes is one option but who would be the next manager?
  
  I just hope something will happen to improve performance either for the remainder of this season or maybe next season.

  I have heard the interview Moyes did after the City game. He said we will try to get United up to City's performance level. YOU ABSOLUTE MORON MOYES! United were above everyone's level last season. That is why we won the league by 11 points. It is you that has dragged us down to this low level and got us playing appalling football.

  People say this alot and it frustrates me as there are a lot of candidates. Hiddink, Klopp, Simeone, Van Gaal etc etc.

  Was going to have a week or two off but had to come in and see whats being said about the bad news? id hoped he would have been given another season to really fuck things up properly! dont know what i enjoyed more on sunday Liverpool winning or Martinez pissing up Moyes leg. No way back to his so called ''Peoples club'' now for ''Davey lad'' Martinez has done more with the Blues in 1 season than he did in 10! I hear Caledonian Thistle are looking for a new Guffer.
