This 1960 Maserati 3500 GT Spyder Vignale is sexy AF
Though to be honest, can you think of an Italian sports car from that era which isn't?

i like my 2 seater roadsters. i was thinking of maybe the mazda mx5 or the new fiat spyider 124. but when i googled it i found there was an old fiat spider ( which previously i had been unaware of ) for less than 5 k. it looks pretty good. i know i should be wary of a fiat ( Fix It Again Tony ) but it does look good, but then so does the new fiat. any thoughts advice . warnings ?

I have to agree with you and say the 2 seater roadster are great, many years ago when I was a lot younger and had more money before my kids came and took it al, I had an Alfa Romeo spider and loved that car was so great to drive and looked great with the roof down, engine sounded great but as with all Alfa romeo's nothing but problems so had to sell it and get something else, silk wish I had it even if just for a toy on summer days

My neighbour's got the new Fiat, an Abarth one, and it is cool AF. Looks amazing and sounds even better but they're about £30k which seems a touch steep. An old one at £5k sounds tempting but you're gonna need a friendly mechanic, no doubt.

Always need a friendly mechanic as far as an fiat or Alfas are concerned as they have nothing but problems as they get older, luckily my old man is an ex mechanic so he sorts all my cars out of he can't then his mate does it so certainly keeps the cost down

This 1986 Maserati 69 HC is a much better tuned model,doesnt need warming up on cold mornings, just turn her on and you will get the ride of your life
