  According to his agent, the Saints are in talks with Internacional over a £20m deal for Leandro Damiao.
  
  The Brazil forward, who's long been linked with Spurs, would become Southampton's record transfer by a long stretch, easily surpassing the £12m paid for Gaston Ramirez last summer.
  
  If it happens, how far could Saints go next season?

  If they get Damiao, Levy will have a breakdown :D after 4 years of chasing him to lose out to Southampton would be a big kick in the balls. Would be strange for Damiao
  
  I was shocked that Southampton got Ramirez so nothing would surprise me and they have a nice top 10 squad in the making right now

  Judging by some of the comments online, his agent and the Internacional chairman are a right pair, hence no Spurs move after 4 years of chasing.
  
  It would be impressive if Cortese could pull it off.
