  I'm really hoping this doesn't suck.  Looks like it won't, but it's modern Hollywood.
  Read somewhere that they split it into two parts, it is a pretty long book.  So no big surprise there.
  
  From the trailer, it does look like they've got the scale right.  And Spitefull, it looks like the Jamis fight might be there.

  I've really enjoyed Denis Villeneuve's previous films like Sicario, Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival. So I'm excited to see this too. The cast is amazing and the source material pretty much set the template for so many other properties within various mediums that came after.

  Just heard the first review for new Dune sounds like it not a bad movie and has good effects which is not surprising and seem to real stick to the book a lot which the reviewer didn't seem to like lol. It's now called Dune Part 1 and I am guessing the second part is going to come out next year. This review came out pretty early as the movie doesn't come out to some time in October. Want to give this a watch when it comes out. 
  
  Not sure really why they picked to remake it really as there already a strong cast in the original one and it was a bit harder to follow in some part of the film But I understood it. But hopefully in this one they make it a lot easier for people understand what's going in the first part. Expecting good visuals if nothing else.
