  When I say long-awaited it’s not understatement. Neil Gaiman’s, The Sandman has been through countless studios all wanting to produce the graphic novels on the big and small screen but ultimately each one ends up not going anywhere. The problem for most studios was trying to bring the weird and wonderful worlds inn which it is set to life.
  
  In a recent interview Gaiman has said how he could not believe how incredibly well the producers at Netflix have brought his vision to life.

  New update on The Sandman project from Netflix. This is going to be one very hard to please fan base and Netflix don’t exactly have the best track record right now… Neil Gaiman seemed happy enough though and that should count for a lot.
  
  
  
  Some of that acting looks a bit of a struggle doesn’t it. We’ll see.

  I haven't read the comic, but I know it's highly regarded as amongst the best of the storytelling medium has ever created. So I'm very excited to see how it's been adapted into a live-action TV show.

  Prior to it's release in a couple of weeks, Netflix have just released the latest trailer for their live-action adaption of Neil Gaiman's legendary graphic novel. I have to say that it's clear to see the money that has been invested in this on the screen, the visuals are at times really stunning.

  This was thoroughly enjoyable. The writing, acting and directing were all really brilliant. Tom Sturridge as Dream and Boyd Holbrook as Corinthian were both great. and the extensive supporting cast were just as good. Given the way the series ended and the amount of stories within the graphic novels, I'm sure Netflix will already be working on creating a second season, which I am eagerly anticipating on watching.

  Episode eleven
  A surprise bonus episode was released today and it was very enjoyable. The first part is an animated feature with the main protagonist being a Siamese cat that speaks to Dream after experiencing a traumatic event. The next part is a live action story about a struggling writer that goes to his mentor for guidance on how to cure his writer's block. The cure to his block comes with consequences though.

  I watched 1 episode of this show but then ended up watching the “Before…” trilogy and completely forgot about it altogether. I thought episode 1 was entertaining but was concerned about how some of it was coming across as intended for a YA audience. I might watch this Honest Trailer first because spoilers aside it could save me a lot of time.
