  The second follow up to the Purge, didn't even know this was being made. The story for this one being someone running for president who wants to end the yearly Purge. Which clearly doesn't go down well.

  I think it looks pretty good personally, i think this series is a rare case where the sequel is better than the first and it looks like they are opening up the scope further with this one.

  Actually, this does look pretty good. Will have to check it out (again on home release, not heading to the cinema to see this). Enjoyed the first and didnt hate the sequel. Gotta be worth a look.

  I actually liked the sequel more than the first (which i found interesting in premise but a bit limited). Without going into spoilery detail just because i found the main characters to be more competent, one in particular (who was just badass basically). However while this does look good i'm hoping they don't get ridiculous and keep making more and more until people get bored of them.

  Downloaded and watched 'The Purge : Election Year' with sunday lunch today (perfect midday sunday material lol). Im not sure how well this second sequel was received but regardless of critical opinion, have gotta say i didnt hate this. Ok, yeah, there are some gaping plot holes and some questionable descisions but perhaps im overthinking this kinda movie. As far as being violent, gory, well paced with even a couple of token jumpy bits i couldnt fault the film. Didnt drag, infact that hour and three quarters just flew by. Wouldnt say its crucial to have watched the first 2 movies before this but at the same time it would help to a degree. All in all a fun ride.

  me to i didnt know this was being made until now, but it look pretty good im gona go download it now, i juts hope it ends better then the last one did, i feel they could of ended it better

  Thanks for thhe recomendation, FantasticMR. Will have to giive that a look see based on your recomendation. Im not gonna spoil the film, dony, but suffice to say given the events at the close of 'Election Year' i really dont see how a 4th installment could be justified (still, when did that ever stop the powers that be trying to milk something to death lol). It is a suprisingly satisfying film and a worthy (potential) close to the series.
