The Porsche Steve McQueen drove in 'Le Mans' just sold for $14m!

This 1970 917K (chassis number 024) was originally a real-life Le Mans test vehicle, before starring alongside McQueen in the legendary 1971 movie based around the 24 hour endurance race.

That racing pedigree, coupled with the Steve McQueen connections saw it sell for $14.08m at Pebble Beach last week.  That makes it the most expensive Porsche ever sold at auction.
