    Episode nine - season finale
Joel and Ellie reach their intended destination, but before we see that conclusion, we're taken back about 15 years prior to current events. Decisions are made in the present that could have severe repercussions in the future.

This was an emotional rollercoaster, and I don't think anyone can make the claim that there hasn't ever been a good adaption of a video game into a live action TV show or film anymore (Personally I still like the first Mortal Kombat and Tomb Raider films). Given that Craig Mazin, the showrunner of HBO's Chernobyl and Neil Druckmann, the creator of the video game teamed up to create this, and then they cast Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal from Game of Thrones then it was pretty inevitable that this was going to live up to the hype.

Overall, ‘The Last of Us’ was a show I looked forward to on a weekly basis and actively avoided spoilers for. I was excited to tune in for episode 10 only to find that episode 9 was the finale and for me you’re really supposed to know when you’re watching the finale, it just didn’t quite drive it home for me. Nevertheless I am excited for season 2. Episode 2 had to be the best episode of the season for me, that would have worked as a standalone movie. But who cares what I think, there are paid professionals here to scrutinise the season for you.

Season two trailer just dropped and it looks like it'll be as good as the first. Joel appears to be struggling with the decisions he's made.

After a sensational 1st season, The Last of Us will be returning to our screens via HBO Max for those across the pond and Sky/Now users in the UK. Lets hope they can keep the momentum going when it returns in 2025. Here’s how it’s looking.

The new trailer for season 2 has just dropped and as someone who has not played the game it’s all going to be lovely surprises, twists and turns for me.
