  As far as new films go, as my well is bone dry, its time for me and the fam to revisit some old films. One such film which i now cant believe we have only watched the once at the time of its original release is The Last King Of Scotland. Has anyone else seen the film? What did you think? The 2006 film stars  James Mcavoy and Forest Whittaker as dictator Idi Amin. A powerhouse of a film with a great performance from Mcavoy but a carerr defining performance from Whitaker. He is an absolute revelation in this. Worth revisiting if you have seen it and highly recomended if you have not.

  Glad ya like the film as well, jose mourinho. In my opinion , Forest whitaker's finest performance to date. I was always under the impression that the film was a true story, turns out only elements were true.

  Yeah, its definatly woth a look solelover. Whitaker is phenomonal in this (perhaps not quite as good as his performance in Bloodsport though but nothing could best that haha). On further inspection whaitaker won the sag award, golden globe, bafta and oscar for leading actor performance for this.
