The Killer Klowns From Outer space are Coming.

This isn’t my new conspiracy theory thread by the way, it seems that 80’s B-Movie ‘Killer Klowns From Outer Space’ is having some sort of nostalgic resurgence. Not only is the next multiplayer horror game done in the style of the Friday the 13th game a Killer Klowns game but Universal Studios is bringing them to life at their Halloween Fright Night.



I’ve never been to one of these fright nights but they do look like they’d put some serious shaking into me knees and without a comical Great Dane to jump in the arms of I would just have to settle for crying in the corner somewhere. That is of course on a regular fright night, on a Killer Klowns fright night there would need to be paramedics on hand for whatever physical reactions my body has to the fright that attempts to shuffle me loose the mortal coil first.

I never saw Killer Klowns as a kid but I did have to walk past it’s eerie poster on far to much of a regular basis. The image of which haunted me nightly and at bed time and left my mind to do the rest of the work as to how these Killer Klowns might try to take my life. One movie poster, haunted for years!

As it turns out a friend of mine I met in my 20’s had a copy and it was finally my time to see what I was so scared about. The movie is honestly camp and hilarious, with silent but violent Klowns and small town folk parodies who live up to being the food source these Klowns need. It’s totally worth a watch if you love a good old 80’s B-Movie horror romp.

As I’m not in the states I won’t know what it’s like to finally come toe to toe with my childhood nemeses and I think that’s likely for the best. I can however settle for the video game experience to to exact my long overdue revenge.
