Um, er, where on earth do i start with this one. Wasnt even aware of the films existence until a few weeks ago the reviews strted appearing for 'The Greasy Strangler' and for the most part..the critics appeared to love the film. Although i wasnt convinced when i saw it pop up for download thought 'Hey' what the hell..whats the worst that could happen'. How to define the oddity of a movie..well, for starters i watched the whole thing from start to finish, staring in disbelief through most, laughing often and most importantly, come the titles, i didnt feel as though i had wasted 90 odd minutes. This is without a doubt one of the oddest movies i have ever witnessed..the characters, the soundtrack, the dialogue, the 'Ren and Stimpy' style humour, those unforgettable carwash sequences..ithe whole thing was bat shit crazy..but an interesting, funny watch for that very reason. Unpredictable, mad and completely off the wall. Certainly this isnt gonna be to everyones tastes but i will be interested in hearing otheres perceptions of the film.
