  What does everyone think future consoles will do, will motion sensors become essential, will they all be 3d? Or is the console as it is perfect?

  Well personally i hope they don`t make all consoles motion sensing in future, i play games to relaxand have fun and i don`t find waving my arms around and having to act out the onscreen action fun, and i`m not a fan of 3D either, so i`m hoping that the future of gaming isn`t 3d and motion sensors,
  i think the best way to go forward is to have the same set up controllers, HD etc, just update the graphics and gameplay mechanics whenever technology allows it.

  I'm hoping the future of gaming is still PC and not console. I enjoy 3d gaming but wouldn't want to do it on a console, as i'd then have to pay to for a tv to experience an inferior standard of gaming.
  
  So for me it's more quality PC titles that can't be properly reproduced on a console (I didn't spend £400 on a graphics card to be as poorly catered for as some nub who bought a whole console for less than that).
  No motion sensors, if i want to exercise i'll go for a run thanks.
  
  I think that just about sums it up for me.

  See i kind of hope the future of gaming isn`t PC and is more console for similar reasons you don`t want it, PC`s to run games with the top graphics require constantly updating your computer which costs money, when you can spend less money on a console where every game is specifically designed for that hardware.
  
  I agree on motion sensors though, and honestly how many people who bought Wii`s, or Kinnect or Playstation Move actually kept playing them when the novelty wore off?

  Ah the ol' PC/console debate, but i'll ignore that for now.
  
  I reckon they will try to push the kinect (sorry for focusing on Xbox but I have no PS3 experience) as much as possible however I cannot see them making it essential to gaming. I'd like to see it just move towards better graphics and hopefully great AAA that are not sequels/prequels (e.g. Watch Dogs, Bioshock 1, Last of Us).
  
  But tbh I'm perfectly happy with my 360 as it is :P But hey-ho, microsoft need to make money.

  I pray to the heavens those are just the working titles and the next E3 anounces something better! Does anyone remember when the next console wasn't just the name of the previous one with a suffix? master system, mega drive, saturn, dreamcast, admitedly nintendo were a bit less original with nes and snes, but still, if they call it xbox 720 that just doesn't make any sense!

  I really hate to think of the future of gaming imo I hated the wii I hate motion games etc.

  I think consoles are gearing more towards online multiplayer stuff and community based gaming.
  
  The new ps4 i think allows you to remotely watch your friends play games and in certain instances juimp in and cooperate in there.
  
  I think size, graphics, sound etc are always going to be focused on, but Im hoping more detail is put into games, especcially like the new GTA where there is a wide variety of options and gameplay styles that can affect the game and missions etc.
  
  Anyone have any info on the new xbox due out next year i think?
