That's right. You are seeing an elephant taking a picture of itself. LOOK AT THAT DUCKFACE!

The story behind it is that this elephant was part of a safari park. A group came in a car to take a look at these elephants and one person in question had his mobile phone with him. Whilst trying to take a picture of the elephants, his phone fell out of his hands and onto the ground. He was not allowed to leave his car as requested by the safari park staff so he had to continue on. He saw the elephant going for his phone but assumed the elephant had mistaken it for food. When the phone was returned to him by the staff, which he thought would ever happen, he checked to make sure it was all still working and that's when he found this elephant selfie.
