Star of Scary Movie, Marlon Wayans leads the cast in this family friendly horror film, alongside former singer and member of Destiny's Child turned actress Kelly Rowland, Priah Ferguson from Stranger Things and Rob Riggle. Marlon moves to a new town with his wife and daughter to become a science teacher, but on Halloween his daughter unintentionally unleashes a curse that needs to be stopped before midnight.

This was a good family friendly horror film. The production design on all the zombie-fied characters was cool and the lore of the curse has potential to be expanded upon in future films. Marlon Wayans' experience of starring in the Scary Movie films made his performance in this as the sceptical science teacher and father easy. Priah Ferguson has a bright future as an actress and played the role of Sydney perfectly. Kelly Rowland was very good in her limited amount of screen time. The supporting cast were all very good, especially Lauren Lapkus as the town's mayor.
