  Pre Xmas I binged on seasons 1 and 2 of The Boys, I’d tried dipping my toe in previously but could not get on board and can’t think for the life of me why because it is brilliant. As with most shows that you binge there is a lull while waiting for the next season but my woes are over as season 3 of The Boys is on it’s way with more super hero/ anti-hero antics no doubt rife with dark humour, foul language and shocking acts of violence. Here’s the trailer for season 3.
  
  
  
  Homelander looking more unstable than ever there! The Boys returns in June of this year so if you haven’t had a chance to watch the first two seasons on Amazon Prime then there is plenty of time to catch up.

  I love this show so much. Anthony Starr as Homelander is one of the best acting performances in recent years and he deserves an Emmy for it. I'd recommend watching him in Banshee too, it's a brilliant show. I'm looking forward to how the story progresses this season with The Boys versus The Seven, and how Victoria Neuman, Stan Edgar and the new character Soldier Boy played by Jensen Ackles disrupt that dynamic. Also fun fact, Simon Pegg who plays Hughie's dad was the inspiration for Hughie in the comic.

  I’ve heard that Ackles is the tip of the iceberg and we are now going to be treated to a very MCU-esque set of supes to hate on.

  This is genius level marketing and promotion for The Boys. Parodying Fox News and Tucker Carlson is brilliant. It also appears to give hints at the University based spin-off that'll follow the exploits of a group of teenagers looking to graduate into joining The Seven. There's also due to be another spin-off called The Boys: Diabolical, which'll be an animated anthology series. I loved how it also gave a hint to one of the plot points of season three, which is that Hughie will now be working for Victoria Neuman at the FDSA. Crimson Countess is a former team member of Payback along with Soldier Boy, who were the team Vought had before they created The Seven.

  This is the official teaser trailer for season three. It drops a few hints as to the fates of the Boys, the Seven, Vought and some of the new faces that will be appearing this season. It looks just as smart, violent, hilarious and chaotic as the previous seasons. I can not wait for the 3rd of June.

  There’s less than one month to go for the highly anticipated, The Boys season 3. Season 3 of any show is often a make or break season, for some it’s where a show really finds it’s feet for others it’s proof that the source material was only ever intended to tell a smaller story well before becoming a cash grab.
  
  Seasons 1 and 2 were flawless, I’m hoping season 3 holds only good things.

  OOOOOOOOOHH this looks good! I was pretty late to the game with the last 2 seasons because I didn't think I'd like it but I fucking loved it.

  Episode one
  Vought release the Dawn of the Seven film. During the press run they start a PR campaign to denounce Stormfront's actions from season two. Homelander struggles to deal with it and starts to go even more off the edge. Hughie is enjoying his role working for the FDSA. Billie, Kimiko and Frenchie are still working on taking down Supes. Mother's Milk has retired and is spending time with his family. Edgar is working on trying to get Vought more power within the US government. Queen Maeve meets Billie and asks him to look in the group called Payback, who were Vought's superhero team before they created The Seven, and she offers hum something to help in his mission. Starlight is given co-captaincy of the Seven.
  
  Episode two
  The Boys investigate Payback and Hughie looks into Red River. Homelander continues to spiral into madness.
  
  Episode three
  Mallory gives the boys backstory on the origins of Payback. Butcher feels the after effects of his actions. Homelander becomes more popular. Starlight finds herself in bad position.
