Lakeith Stansfield stars as the lead, and teams back up with director Jeymes Samuels after their hit The Harder They Fall. RJ Cyler also returns, and they're joined by Omar Sy, James McAvoy and Benedict Cumberbatch in the supporting cast. This appears to be a religious satire in the vein of the classic Life of Brian, and if it's half as good as that was, then it'll be another success for Jeymes.

Jeymes Samuels is two for two. This is a great film. You can tell with this and with The Harder They Fall that he's a student of classic Hollywood. This has the feel of those epics right down to the font style. The cast is stellar and so are the performances, which is beautifully led by Stanfield. You go in expecting a comedy and you leave having felt the drama.
