Watched the Greg Mclean directed, written by 'Guardians of the Galaxy's' James Gunn, horror/thiller/comedy 'The Belko Experiment' earlier. Has anyone else seen the film? What did you think? Starring several reconisable faces (case of playing 'what tv show did they appear in') and a cast also of unnowns, the film basically tells of 80 employees trapped in their office building in Columbia, with an unknown voice engaging them in a game of kill or be killed..think Battle Royale in a large office building. Found te film to be enjoyable, without being groundbreaking. Solid enough performances, feel the film was let down by a lack of original deaths/kills. Thinking about all the potential items or ways that an office block and its contents could be used to bump off someone, there were only occassional inspired deaths if you will. That niggle aside, it was a non taxing, fun watch for its 90 odd minutes. Fortunatly, when the film decides its gonna focus on the gore..it doesnt mess about. Recomended.
