As a whole this movie is not bad(not great) at all.
The overall story is very good, I particularly found the cast to be wonderful.
Asain/Oriental movies hold a fond place for me.
While it will never be as good(in my opinion) as House Of Flying Daggers etc, It is a worthy viewing and an equally worthy addition. -

Jet Li is awesome, no doubt about that. I have many Jet Li movies.
Regarding your statement on "new" Crouching Tiger, could you elaborate, as I was aware of only one Crouching Tiger movie, and It is not new.

dvious is indeed right about a new crouching tiger film. Believe it is a netflix exclusive (not that this has stopped me downloading it). Reviews have been positive but, as of yet, i have not got around to watching it so will reserve judgement until then. For me, Jet Li is a bit hit and miss although thats largely based on some of his more commercially well known films where he has only played part of an ensemble, for example Lethal Weapon 4 and The Expendables. On the subject of Asian / Oriental movies my favourite without a doubt is Red Cliff. Has anyone else seen it?
