  Such a fantastic day for England!  :D
  
  First, winning the toss and sending the Aussies in to bat, with overcast conditions, drizzle and a tinge of green on the pitch.  Then, Broad bowling the spell of his life, to end up with 8-15, to help crumble the Aussies to 60 all out before Lunch.  Incredible!!!
  
  The quickest ever time to dismiss a side before Lunch on Day 1 of a Test.
  
  Lyth going cheaply again, edging behind, think he could be dropped for the final Test.  Bell had a shocker IMHO, even with the use of DRS.  To me, it looked like the ball was defo gonna miss leg stump.  Cook went to a beauty, plum lbw, no complaints.  Root, fully deserved century.  Bairstow also played well.  Hopefully, Wood will hang around for a bit, before the potential assault from Stokes and Buttler, and possibly Broad as well.
  
  England should win this Test by an innings, and deservedly regain the Ashes.
  
  Looking forward to Day 2!  :)

  Would say we thrashed Australia in the latest test!
  Hopefully Broad can carry on the form he has clearly showed in this test :P Also the team for that matter.. some class catching in this test ;) Some class batting and also the other bowlers still deserve credit. A good team performance by England imo!
  Michael Clarke is retiring after the last test in the series, so Australia will need a new captain :P Wonder who that will be! Bring Shane Warne out of retirement :D
  Anyway.. well done to England... much deserved!

  I cant even believe how easy this ashes has been, broad with that spell was utter class and to be honest i think everyone was in shock, i could imagine the aussies in the changing room all putting their pads on at the same time haha, shame about clarke to be honest , he is an awesome batsman but joe roots number one now , not sure if he should be but no doubt hes a class act

  Talk about being dragged back down to earth, all the talk of 4-1 has been replaced with talk of trying to get to day 4. I am due to go to the oval tomorrow so hoping to see some action but fear it might be that England are left with 2-3 wickets left by the end of today

  It was great to see regain The Ashes but, on the whole, it was a largely forgettable series. The matches weren't close and there wasn't really a time when you could say both teams were producing world class cricket at the same time.

  it will be an extremely close series. england probably have the edge but they never seem to find any sort of consistency. there is also the added factor that steve smith is performing tremendously as captain of that aussie side but if he fails then their whole team could go down. really hope england win it though...those aussies get a bit too cocky after they win every time

  So we start the sandpaper waving today then, good to see Bancroft and Warner already in the pavilion. Just need Smith the loathsome little convict just gutted no Archer to smash a few into their faces oh well always another test!
