  This years apprentice is three weeks in, what does everyone think so far?
  Has anyone got any early picks to be the winner?
  And who do you fancy out of the women? (not a huge choice this time around).

  I think this year is one of the worst lot of people, i couldn't name one person out of the show. So as a result of this I couldn't possibly choose a winner out of the lot this year. Quite a disappointment so far will have to see a few more episodes to decide what to think.

  It hasn't been that good yet, but I still think it's bloody good tv. The problem with this year so far is: the three people that have been fired haven't really pulled up any trees. They didn't provide enough entertainment while they were there so we couldn't care less if they got fired or not.
  I think that will change though. My early pick for one of the winners is one of the young guys, can't remember his name for the life of me though, lol.
  Also, Katie is a bit of a babe. Although she's not a patch on some of the hotties from the last couple of years though.

  i do still watch the apprentice but i'm starting to lose interest really fast, for a few different reasons.
  
  first off i can not stand alan sugar, the bloke is a complete knob and i honestly have no idea how it he made so much money considering amstrad tech is pretty much shite!
  
  secondly it seems like each year it's just a group of bigger and bigger twats on it, although it does make me laugh surely when applying for the show these people must be thinking "i'll be the first contestant ever who isn't a dick" they're just all those sort of middle management idiots who use phrases like "think outside the box" etc.. etc.. you know the things i mean, all of which are basically ways of trying to sound clever without actually saying anything at all, and they all also have such massively inflated sense's of self worth and ego and i can't stand people like that
  
  but the third and biggest reason it's getting boring is that a lot of the tasks are just getting really repetitive, and it started to dawn on me that a lot of them prove jack all about how good a contestant might be as quite often it will come down to luck etc...
  
  i must admit though i am a big fan of the american celebrity apprentice as we don't get a celeb one here anymore, i still don't like donald trump but i like him a lot more than sugar and being american they tend to get some kind of cool celebs every know and then (the current series has penn jillette from penn and teller, paul snr from american chopper and dee snider from twisted sister!) that's not to say it's not mainly filled with people i have no idea who they are but it's still better than the british one ever was lol

  Liking this series, it is some of my favourite reality tv, it's just a bit classier than the rest and can be hilarious. I like that the format changed, as it was going to get rediculous him hiring all these people. But I do like the lord, he's funny and whatever may be the state of the products he makes, he knows business.

  i don't agree that he's funny, he's just smug, thinks he's more important than he is and is just mean in a vague attempt at being witty imho.
  
  i really don't get it when everyone goes on about him being a fantastic businessman as there's lots who have done better than he has, are worth more than him etc...

  The last series was entertaining but it was a bit of a smack in the face. The winner, Tom, lost about 70% of the tasks and somehow won the whole show. Whereas Helen, the runner up, excelled in almost every task. Sugar said if it was the regular format, she would've won and that he had a feeling about Tom very early on. If he knew that early, why didn't he just announce the winner half way through the series? I know the answer to that of course (ratings=Money).

  I disagree as Tom was an inventor, he has so many ideas it was only natural for him to excel in the final. And your forgetting that it's only the final that really counts in Lord Sugar hiring them, whereas all their ideas where shit to be honest Tom had the most promising and like I said had so many more great ones. Whereas Helen yes a great contender had a terrible idea which just resulted in her falling apart in the final boardroom. So as Helen is a successful business women with great achievements she just didn't have the right ideas for the job. I also liked Tom's personality much better, he was funny, smart and likeable where as Helen always seemed to me like a bit of a smart ass and too great for everyone else.
