  im with jess looyd fan when i saw the trailer to the first one i really didnt think much of it,but when i watched it i thought it was very good ,but saw the 2nd one and was not all that thatnk god they didnt do a third lol

  There's still time for them to make a third, if they can make decent money it will happen. That new film 3 days to kill judging by the trailer looks like it's a similar film and has same producers as taken.

  I think they have quietly dropped the idea for a third, also since Liam Neeson did say in an interview he has no interest in a third it sort of kills that idea a bit, although if they offered him a truckload of money he most likely wouldn't turn it down.

  Yeah it would be stretching it just abit. Have you seen the 3 days to kill trailer it's made by people behind taken and looks almost the same, he is even on phone to bad guys telling them he'll find them.

  Would be stretching it a lot, besides the plot of 2 is relatives of the dead in the first, who else is alive to come after him. Unless his daughter got taken by a totally different gang (which would be plain stupid).
  Well you know what film studios are like, something is popular so release lots similar films to cash in, I saw a trailer for one starring Nicolas Cage which looked similar too.

  First one is a leave your brain at the door classic, That babe from lost kidding on she's about fifteen years old! But his speech even though has been parodied a million times is class, Second one oh no what a waste of time and honestly is any family that unlucky?
  
  Third one would loose all recognition.
