What do you guys have to say about the Suarez incident? I like him as a player and consider him without a doubt one of the worlds best, but after taking a bite out of Ivanovic I really don't know what to say.

As usual Suarez makes a disgrace of himself what is the point of biting someone I see Liverpool are not backing him this time but maybe that's cos the video evidence is more Obvious this time but how much do can Liverpool put up with him disgracing there name

Suarez is absolutely brilliant but hes really fucked up now, hes been fined by Lfc and he awaits his bollocking from the FA/Fergy, obviously he will have to be punished but while all the pundits/talking heads and media crusify him if he comes up for sale you watch other managers forgetting his misdameanors in the stampede of other clubs trying to sign him.

Hahahaha this is brilliant. I don't understand what runs through his mind. I know players get frustrated but Suarez took it to a whole new level. When I miss a goal or do something silly I usually just curb stomp the ground not try to chomp another players hand off!

Blah, blah, blah! Posted this on another thread, but it needs repeating. Where was all this "outrage" when defoe bit mascherano? [Image: defoe_mascherano.jpg]

    It's a fair question.
    Just a couple of questions:

i). Ivanovic went to the referee, showed the "injury" from the bite, but the ref did nothing. Referees are supposed to stop the game and let a player be treated if blood is running, yes? So we can infer that the "injury" to the chelsea defender wasn't major.

ii). Ivanovic was also interviewed by police. He decided not to press charges. The CPS would've thrown a charge of assualt out of the proverbial window.

So, gentlemen, in conclusion, the ref didn't deem the "injury" to ivanovic serious and the ivanovic himself decided not to press charges....

I'm not condoning Gnasher's actions, but the whole episode has been blown out of all proportion. Still, it gives the great unwashed something to talk about.

Show me the bite marks. Did Suarez take a chunk out or was it just a nibble? What exactly did you see? Or are you just getting caught up in the Sky News Hysteria? Is this any worse than the wigan player's (mcmannerman) tackle on the newcastle player?

    THIS!

David Gill is on the FA (fuck all) panel, no? This will make or break Suarez. He can go in two directions from here:

i). Cuntona. People will forget his violent past and he'll be rebraned a leg end.
ii). Balotelli. LFC will get rid ASAP.

Thing is, Gerrard aside, Liverpool, unlike Man City, don't have a team or world-class players. Say he's sold for £40M. What world-class forward is going to want to sign for some mediocre team not even good enough to play in the Europa League? Still, look on the bright side. £40M will probably get you three Joe Allens!

Let's not kid ourselves here. Football is a man's game. It's amusing watching all these whore-sky pundits getting their knickers in twist over this incident. Back in the 80s Souness himself lashed out at a fellow professional, breaking his jaw. Again, where were the hysterical, screaming headlines?
