Studio 66 - General Thread
parkaner > 29/11/2016, 01:21
There are ads that keep coming up now for the new magazine that 66 are bringing out. Anyone ordered one?
I can't imagine it lasting many issues with the current trend of lads mags going out of print.
Will any shop even be stocking it, I don't know.
I know a lot of the girls who work there have done photos for it, but what level?
Fancy Evelyn as a centrefold? :P -

Seems a bit pointless to me, more of a glory project than a good decision. Not only have lads mags all but disappeared but the likes of playboy have gone non nude and I can't see it rivalling the likes of GQ an Esquire in terms of lifestyle. Not only that but they will feature their girls and I pretty sure that you'll be able to find harder content of them online. -

Have been seeing tweets about this mag for a few weeks now, as far as i'm aware it's something that has to be specially ordered, i'm guessing it's to maybe try & rival Mayfair & the likes, given how many times Cara Brett has shot for them
Really don't see it lasting too long -

If they'd sunk a load of money in to editorial/lifestyle content and gone large on distribution then I doubt it'd last long.
But it's just pics (bloody nice ones at that) as far as I understand, and that's all content than can be, or would have been anyway, re-used on their website. So costs are presumably fairly low, with copies printed as and when they're needed.
It's clearly not going to revive the lads mag industry, but at the same time i'm sure there's plenty of people willing to fork out a fiver for the pleasure of getting away from their laptops or phones for a bit and enjoying a nicely put together book full of sexy pics. -

Ahhh my mistake, didn't realise it was just pics. Yeah I'm sure that'll do alright, bit like when they charge a fiver for the end of year FHM issue. -

Nostalgia in it, like going back to LPs for the covers n free posters, guys are in need of print based masturbatory materiel they can stick the pages together in and throw out of the car window in the park. -

Vulgar talk like that'll be what shuts it down.
If anyone asks it's sat on the coffee table in your luxury riverside London apartment. No stains, no creases. -

It was a real phenomenon that though, i worked in Newsham Park 1979-84 and the amount of crinkly old wank stained copies of Razzle, Fiesta, Escort ect was incredible!
Ahh those were the days, days when you were buzzing if you managed to find a clean copy with a shaven girl in and you could make out the workings of the female reproductive opening instead of drawing eyes on it and singing 'Sexual Healing'

Ahh those were the days, days when you were buzzing off Special Brew and if you managed to find a clean fag end to smoke with a shaven girl in and you could make out the Liver Bird silhouetted against The Kop. The workings of the female reproductive opening are still a mystery, instead I would bum stray dogs whilst singing 'Sexual Healing'
Fuck me ShittyTug, that is quite a scene you paint.
Did you ever get your collar felt ?
Puts me in mind of that fella from Bolton. Keith Lard. But that was an Airedale.
