STUDENTS POST AD LOOKING FOR 'GENERIC FATHER FIGURE'
A bunch of college students from Washington just posted an ad on Craigslist looking for a 'generic father figure', and before you get all emotional, this isn't a tragic story about kids with no fathers. The group just wanted to spend Father's Day with a father figure seeing as they won't make it home to see their own dads. In the ad the "fathers" duties include manning the BBQ and calling the boys "chief" or "sport". It's a pretty sweet idea in theory but fuck knows what kind of loons they're going to get applying for the position - probably some groomer who wants to grope a bunch of students. Don't leave your drinks unattended boys.

RE: STUDENTS POST AD LOOKING FOR 'GENERIC FATHER FIGURE'
Remember the students who posted an ad on Craigslist looking for a 'generic father figure' to step in on Father's Day? Well, it turns out a local news station picked up their story and things took off from there. Not only did the boys find their father figure but they also got a whole bunch of freebies from local companies wanting to sponser the event.

Johnsonville supplied a cooler full of sausages, Chester Copperpot Clothing donated a bunch of custom t-shirts, and right at the last moment, Rainier hooked the boys up with 500 cold ones! What an epic event!

Here are the 'Dads' that answered the ad. This is Jim, AKA Grill Dad. He brought his own smoker/grill and fired it up, churning out burgers all night.

This is Scott, AKA Weed Dad. Scott works at a dispensary and was hooking everybody up with infused goodie. Scott was also dishing out veggie burgers and A+ fatherly advice the whole time.

This is Pete, AKA Army Dad. In this picture Pete was singing the boys an Italian drinking song he learned from one of his Army buddies. Pete brought a keg of homebrew to share and some wild stories from his glory days.

It looks like the boys and the proxy dads had one hell of a good time.
