Strippers set up ‘Boober Eats’ delivery service after club is closed!

While many people are able to work from home during this time, there’s a few jobs that simply can’t be done from home. Take strippers for example, those gals need a club and customers to earn a living. With bills to pay they are having to think of more creative ways to make that money.

 

In steps Shon Bouldon, the the owner of the Lucky Devil Lucky Devil Lounge strip club, in Portland. Shon didn’t want to see any of his staff out of work after he was forced to close so he set up a food delivery service with a twist. His new venture means he is able to keep people employed, with security now driving dancers around, dancers delivering the food, and bar tenders answering the phones and looking after the club's social media pages. Here’s what Shon had to say:  
 

We are now a food delivery service that provides customers with food with a side of boobs. Try not to laugh, I know. So, this originally started as kind of a joke. We had to shut down and I said, 'We're gonna try and keep the kitchen open and deliver dancers to your door, topless, and we're gonna call it 'Boober'.

The feedback just started going crazy, people were asking if we could send their favourite dancers and if we delivered to Vancouver, Salem, Gresham, Hillsborough, and I just asked everybody, 'Hey, do you wanna try and do this?' and everyone was like, 'Yes'. We're bringing the party to you because you can't bring the party to us.

 

He also added:  
 

We're keeping our prices the same, the only thing we're charging for is a $30 service fee for the two girls, and we're splitting that between the two dancers and the security - everyone is making just over minimum wage.

 

Well that’s pretty bloody awesome. I know it’s not the kind of cash they’re used to but every little helps in a time like this. One dancer known as said that without 'Boober Eats' she would have struggled to pay her bills. She said: 
 

It became very real when this happened that we are independent contractors and dancers work for tips and tips only. This idea was a great! Just make sure to tip your Boobers, we're trying really hard.

 

Birdie is another dancer who has been overwhelmed at the amount of support that they’ve received. She said: 
 

There's a huge family love and it's definitely been amazing to just do this with the people we love. It definitely helps keep out spirits up.

 

It’s definitely good to keep spirits up at a time like this. It’s just a shame they aren’t in the U.K. I would have ordered some chicken tender with a side of titties
