Steven Seagal is endorsing a new cryptocurrency company
I must admit, I'm glad this whole cryptocurrency hype is dying down. A few months back I couldn't scroll through Facebook without seeing some ex babechannel girl acting like she'd just jumped on her laptop and a day later she'd made two thousand quids worth of Bitcoin. Err, no you haven't love! It seemed like every fucker was jumping on the bandwagon so it was only a matter of time before companies started trying to flog you a new type of cryptocurrency.

One thing companies need to get you interested in their product is a big-named celebrity to endorse it. Ideally, the celeb will be current and someone that people want to listen to. Failing that, they could just use Steven Seagal - an old has-been from some hella cheesy movies. I don't think Bitcoiin 2nd Generation (B2G) got the memo that Steven probably wasn't the best celeb for the job, bet hey-ho. Here’s the official announcement on Twitter:

Here's the press release:

Quote:As a Buddhist, Zen teacher, and healer, Steven lives by the principles that the development of the physical self is essential to protect the spiritual man. He believes that what he does in his life is about leading people into contemplation to wake them up and enlighten them in some manner. These are precisely the objectives of the Bitcoiin2Gen to empower the community by providing a decentralized P2P payment system with its own wallet, mining ecosystem and robust blockchain platform without the need of any third party.
Zen Master, Steven mentioned an old Chinese saying “Flow with whatever may happen and let your mind be free. Stay centered by accepting whatever you are doing. This is the ultimate”. by Chuang Tsu.
For Bitcoiin2Gen, the choice of Zen Master, Steven Seagal is obvious as brand ambassador, this extends our long-term commitment towards the community.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be investing anytime soon.

It's got to be better, it's got an extra i in it.
Steven says "Remember folks, there's no i in pound, but there's three in bitcoiin"
Then he added "Yeeeeeahhh"
Then he went back to thinking about Erika Eleniak bursting out of a cake, and his lip curled into a wistful enigmatic smile.
