  alright peeps was wondering on what you thought about the next gen console due to come out this year and next year. im most looking forward to the ps4 and the steam box. not a big xbox fan but the console looks like its going to be a beast. tech specs for all look good and its gonna be a hard choice when it comes to which one to buy

  well considering the xbox and playstation have no confirmed official specs or anything, not to mention the fact there's no release date for either makes it a bit hard to choose really. as for the valve thing i've not paid any attention to that at all.

  there are videos out on youtube by woody gamertag which has the confirmed 720 specs and the confirmed dev kit specs for the ps4 so take and look and the steam box i agree with i havent followed much but now it looks like it gonna rock but only if valve get it right which they should do

  oh right, i forgot that microsofts new way of releasing specs for there new hardware was with some random guy on youtube, same goes for the ps4. there are no confirmed specs for either at the moment, go look on any decent site that's not just rumors and you'll see that as all there is at the moment is rumors by random guys who like to talk big on youtube, who knows maybe one or two of them might get one or two of the details correct, but that'll just be coincidence.

  i know that the guy said that is was rumored but it was most likely going to be the specs for the consoles but yes i agree you can believe everything you hear and read on the internet, which console would you most likely go for and how much would you be willing to pay sony will make there announcement about possible the ps4 on the 20th i think so be intresting to see what they say

  well as i don't have anything to base my decision off, i can only go with what i've had in the past so i guess i'd go for the new xbox, but it really depends what the specs end up being. although to be fair i will be bias towards the xbox unless the ps is seriously a lot better.
  
  prices are going to be stupidly high, i'd say at least around the £400 mark.

  ive not heard of the steambox??. I have the xbox 360 but i think this time round when box consoles are released i might switch back to playstation. Graphics on both consoles are almost identical, neither is clearly superior to the other, the same goes with gameplay and other things which are down to just the game and not the console.
  
  I guess i will wait until the full system specs are released along with the retail prices, then make a decision from there.

  the steam box is going to be a mini computer for the front room effectivly its made by valve who own steam, steam is like a computer plaform to release games on you buy them and play through steam, its quite important for pc gamers. i havent heard anything new about the 720 but the ps4 is going to be beast im looking forward to seeing it fully

  It's gotta be the valve box, think about it; when have valve released anything that hasn't been rated highly? have you seen the steam client for pc; it's bloody amazing! Now if you could have all of that in the convenience of a console since some people cant afford a pc its a dream come true for gamers right?

  its true valve do make good things especially half life 2 that game kicked arse and i do look forward to seeing what they can bring to the table im sure that it will be good enough for people to be willing to spend money on. for what it looks like its going to be a cheaper version of a gaming pc ie alienware but its going to be alot better there was rumours of the steam box running on linuxs when is a beast os and is so much better than windows in my opinion its all a waiting game. what console would you rather have outta all of them for me its gotta be a ps4 as i love playstation consoles but i also would like a steambox
