Sorry to be off-topic as a reply too but just so you know Steam was giving away Portal for free last year and I love it, one of the best games made. and there's cake too......or is there?

As for SWTOR I ordered it as it's a bioware game and you gotta love their games, not a duff one since they started with Baldur's gate (correct that if I'm wrong) which set the standard for rpg's back in the 90's and enabled multi player via network.

My only issue with it is the enormous price tag at £45 for the standard edition and the collectors edition is a whopping £130!!

The Old Republic is going Free to Play. An official online announce was made today.
