  The trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the winner of 2018's best animated film Oscar has been released. Not much is known about the plot yet, But Shameik Moore and Halilee Steinfeld will be returning as Miles and Gwen. Oscar Isaac will be Miguel O'Hara and Issa Rae will be Jessica Drew. The rest of the cast has not been revealed yet, but hopefully Nicolas Cage will be back as Spider-Man Noir.

  Absolutely outstanding but equally a bit disappointed. The fact it has part 1 in the title will mean that we will be waiting quite some time for the part 2. Hate leaving the cinema on a cliffhanger, not like you only have to wait a week to see what happens next.

  I understand your feelings, it's like having to wait years for Dune Part Two. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part Two is rumoured to be released in 2023. So hopefully it'll be early in the year, rather than in the winter of 2023. It would've been so cool if they didn't say it was part one of a two part film, until everyone watched it at the cinema and it wasn't revealed until once the film ended. Or they could've filmed both films together like The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, then released one part in the summer and the second part in Autumn.

  The first trailer for Across The Spider-verse looks just as good, if not better than the first film. Johnson, Moore and Steinfeld return as Peter, Miles and Gwen. We get our first glimpse of Isaac and Rae as Miguel and Jessica. The majority of the trailer is Velez as Rio talking to Miles. So I expect the next trailer to reveal more of the plot, but Gwen does say something in this trailer which is a possible hint as to where this story could go.

  Still a bit miffed about it being a part 1 though, hate leaving the movie theatre not fully satisfied.
