Now I quite like lic.me as a pic host. It is simple and reliable.

But some of the shit you see there defies description.

I know what you mean, some of the stuff randoms have pinned borders on the bizarre side, that picture is just plain weird, but what does it say about the guy who posted it??? :P

Granted if you just want to upload and post one pic it is as you say, but for multiple images then geez... what a croc..

Eventually they put in that 'best fit' selection for the thumbnails, why oh why would anyone want the 'square cropped' option, ain't no use as a thumbnail if you can't see the whole pic!!!

and if you try to upload multiple images then it tries to upload them altogether, not one at a time, and then they're all out of order!!! so you get #2,#6,#,1,#5,#3,#4 as an example when you copy to the clipboard, and god forbid you try to upload more than 8 or 9 as it just won't do it!!!

so if you do know who's responsible for it, please give them an almighty kick in the arse and say 'It's not good enough'....

Spot on Russy it is a bag of piss! i only use it to add 1 last large pic to my pic'posts, for the rest of the pics i STILL use turboimage.

Licme is good as in as much as its quick loading, but you cant just add smaller images, if you want to load pics like i or you or a few others do, you cant without 'resizing' everything, no matter what you use 'best fit, 100/160/200/260/360' they all come out the same, fuckn page filling massive pics!!! and as you say the 'Square Cropped' is pointless! Good we still got Turbo, coz if i had to take the time to resize every single large image so they would load like Turbo does i dont think id have the patience to carry on, id just make posts with 1 big fuckoff picture!

Heres an example, 1st Turbo 'Large Thumb 350' i can load 8 of these side by side and they just fill the screen nicely, 2nd Licme 'Best Fit 100' without 'resizing' is just TOO FUCKING BIG!!

It's good and interesting to hear a lot of your comments about lic.me. The thumbnails are ruined as Russy said. Clitterbug. I tried contacting lic.me about what you said about best fit by email but they never got back to me. The size stays the same no matter what best fit option you select. It's good to hear that I am not alone in experiencing this.

I also tried to contact them HD via the contact link on the main page, detailing the issues I mentioned above, and likewise received no response. Perhaps they'll read this thread and take some notice...

Keep an eye out for iamme, I believe he's something to do with lic.me, so if e-mails aren't being noticed maybe try send him a PM on here

Thanks Outlaw for the suggestion. I have not long ago sent iamme a pm and also tried to contact the lic.me team again. So hopefully after the Festive season we'll get some news from either iamme or the lic.me team.

That's the exact thing that I did initially. Sorry to hear that you got no response either. Thanks for letting us know. Much appreciated. I hope that they'll read the thread too. Hopefully others will read this thread and say whether they had this experience too.
