Thankfully, Bairstow and Moeen, along with two of our very old friends when it suits - Bad Light and Rain - helped ensure England got a Draw out of the 2nd Test.
Honestly, it would have been a major embarrassment, if England had lost that Test, especially after smashing 629 in the first innings, and Ben Stokes going berserk with his double hundred.
Hopefully, England will learn from Day 5, and take advantage of a South African side still coming to terms with Amla's resignation as captain.
The conditions and toss will be crucial for the next Test. -

Crazy to think we 'escaped' that with a draw :P -

Hopefully, England will have learnt from their Day 5 mistakes in the 2nd Test, and go out, win the 3rd Test, and secure a series win over the so-called Number 1 Test side in the World.
They never performed in India (although not many sides do!), and they've been struggling in this series, bar on Day 5 of the last Test.
Hopefully, that hasn't swung the momentum in their favour, and England do the business, take an unassailable 2-0 lead. -

another case of same old england? getting the opposition down and then not capitalizing on the chances that come their way. should have taken at least half of those dropped catches and that would have made a huge difference in the state of that second test...let's hope they do better in the 3rd one
