  This is the trailer for season five of Snowfall. It's is a crime drama show, created by the Oscar nominated director of Boyz n da Hood, John Singleton. The main character Franklin Saint is played by British actor Damson Idris, and the supporting cast of characters are CIA agent Teddy, gang member Lucia and wrestler Oso. It's a period piece set in 80's LA, and is easily one of the best shows on TV in the past several years.

  Quick breakdown of the first four episodes of season five so far.
  
  Episode One - Franklin makes a tough decision.
  Episode Two - Teddy re-appears.
  Episode Three - Louie and Jerome concoct a plan.
  Episode Four - Cissy returns to LA.
  
  So far the season has got off to a flier, and Damson continues to put in Emmy Award winning performances. The writing and directing are as good as they've always been. I'd love to see a bit more of Oso and Avi, but those are my only minor issues so far. I love where Leon's character arc could potentially go this season. Louie and Jerome are still some of the most loveable characters on TV. I think there's going to be a twist in relation to what happened to Alton by the end of the season. Franklin and Teddy will have a confrontation soon too, and Veronique will get caught in the crossfire. The tension whenever Skully appears on screen is always so beautifully palpable, chaotic and tense.

  Episode five
  
  This might've been the most underwhelming episode of the entire series so far. It's centred around a series of mysterious drive by shootings that happen to Franklin, Teddy and Oso, then Cissy, Louie and Jerome and then Leon and Avi. After Franklin, Teddy and Oso are shot at it ends up with Franklin and Oso getting locked in a tiger cage by some weirdo.
  
  At the end of season four it looked like Franklin was on his own after Louie and Jerome wanted to run their own business, and Leon wanted to retire. But at the start of season five it looks like the status quo has gone back to normal like it never happened, and there was a time jump to Franklin no being in a relationship with a new woman in his life that was only introduced this season.
  
  I'm hoping that the remaining five episodes can get back up to it's usual quality, after the concerns from fans that it might fall off after the passing of John Singleton. But I have faith in the producers, hopefully they don't let me down. But if they do, then it's fine, and if season six is the final one then I hope they go out with a bang.

  Episode six
  
  After the slight disappointment of last week's episode, we've been now introduced to the big bad of this season. It looks like Franklin's actions from his past have caught up with him, and now we'll see if he can deal with the consequences. Damson Idris continues to put in stellar performances. I'm glad there was more Avi and Oso in this episode too.

  Episode seven
  
  Franklin is still trying to set everything straight after after the drive-by shootings. Louie sets up a plan of retribution. Jerome faces some demons on his quest to uncover the snitch. Leon steps up with a peaceful solution. Cissy is still looking for a way to enact her revenge. Teddy lays down some new rules.

  Episode eight
  
  This was a bit of a weird episode. Franklin faced up to what he had done in order to get where he is. But the way the writers did it was surreal and slightly out of tone for what the show has been previously. I know other shows have used similar tactics for their protagonists, but it just felt slightly out of place, in a season that has been a little bit hit or miss for me so far, after the preceding seasons were flawless. Damson and the rest of the cast are still putting in stellar work. Hopefully the last two episodes of this season go out with a bang.

  Episode nine
  
  Finally this season has kicked into fifth gear. The episode starts off immediately where the last episode finished with Buckley trying to get Kane, like Louis paid him to do. But it ends up with his partner dying, and Kane surviving. That then leads to Buckley being suspended. Franklin then finds out from Leon what Louis tried to do, but he's hesitant to get involved due to his relationships with Louis and Kane. The fallout from the LSD poisoning at the wedding rises it's head once Avi tells Teddy what happened. Cissy tries to pull back on her attempt to get Teddy, but it's too late to turn back now. Franklin also finds out about Louis dealing with Teddy. So now he's cutting ties with Teddy.

  Episode ten
  
  What a finale. Despite this season being a little bit hit or miss for me, this a perfect conclusion to this chapter and a great set up for next season. Franklin felt the repercussions of his actions. Leon pursued a different change in his life. Louie is willing to do whatever it takes. Avi does everything he can. Oso tries to protect everyone he loves. Cissy makes a bold decision. Teddy makes an unnecessary choice.

  The first trailer for the final season has just dropped and it looks like Franklin is going out all guns blazing. In his quest to right the wrongs that have been done to him it looks like everyone is in his crosshairs.

  Episode one
  Franklin works with V to try and clean the money they took from Jerome and Louie. The KGB are trying to get more help from Cissy in order to take down Teddy. The DEA are putting pressure on Oso.
  
  Episode two
  Cissy and Jerome meet, in an attempt to stop the violence. Teddy gives a sketch to Oso asking him to find out who it is. Franklin meets with Jerome but things take a turn for the worse. V asks for her mother's help.
