Sky Sports bad for uk sport

Is sky sports having a bad effect for uk sport?
It seems there will be no free to air sports left on tv soon .
How are people going to get interest in sports if you cant watch it and get inspired to watch/take up the sport.
There used to be a balance between free to view and pay to view sport but i can see a time where it will be all pay to view
