  Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel set a searing pace to top second practice at the Singapore Grand Prix.
  
  The world champion beat team-mate Mark Webber by 0.604 seconds, and was a second faster than the first driver not in a Red Bull, Mercedes' Nico Rosberg.
  
  The German was 1.009secs slower than Vettel and 0.11secs quicker than team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
  
  Lotus's Romain Grosjean was fifth, ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, and the McLaren of Jenson Button.

  Vettel quickest in the final practice too. He's looks frightening at the moment, and someone will have to do bloody well to beat him.
  
  Or so it seems, maybe there'll be one or two surprises in qualifying? We'll find out in the next couple of hours...

  Lewis Hamilton fucked it last time around, and now it's Kimi Raikkonen's turn. He finished 14th in Q2 so will sit out Q3.
  
  The 10 drivers for that being... 1) Vettel 2) Webber 3) Rosberg 4) Hamilton 5) Grosjean 6) Alonso 7) Gutierrez 8) Massa 9) Ricciardo 10) Button.
  
  Vettel still quickest then.

  No real surprises it looks like although Grosjean did well to get close... and a smiling Massa is in front of Alonso...
  
  However with Singapore being notorious for having safety cars during the race it might just come down to luck?

  with each week vettel and his smug grin piss me off more and more. i hope he doesn't win tomorrow, but i looks like he will walk it unless something goes wrong.

  The obligatory safety car is out after Ricciardo has a brush with the wall.... at least it'll bunch the pack up again... not really been that exciting a race, Vettel miles out in front and Rosberg a solid second, let's see if the safety car has messed anyones strategy up...

  vettel has opened up an big lead again after safety car and looks like he is gonna cruise to another easy victory. can't see anyone catching him today, just too fast.

  Yep, it's all a race now for the other podium and points places, Webber in a good position as he manages to undercut Rosberg during the pit stops... Unless someone has an 'off' it looks like it could be Red Bull and Mercedes again, unless the others can hold on to their tyres...
  
  So not the most exciting race, but I can recommend Singapore as a place to visit, really beautiful, as long as you can stand the smell of Durian fruit as you walk past the markets and Hawker centres. Take your missus if you must and she'll get lost in the mega shopping centres on Orchard Road, while you partake of a brew or two of refreshing Tiger beer.... ahhh Singapura...
  
  
  
  
  Alonso seems to still be Ok with his tyres, can he hold on for second? and Kimi takes Jenson to go 3rd... - maybe it will be an exciting end to the race after all...

  So Vettel takes the win by 36 seconds or so and gets booed on the podium... up to you how you feel about that, he probably deserves some of it... as he brushes it off by saying "They're on tour, they go around on a bus."
  
  A nice touch from Fernando as he picks up Webber on his way back to the pits after Webber has another failure with the car, this time with a water problem.... Although just heard that the Stewards has called him in from breaking some rules??? WTF... get a grip FIA...
  
  A good race to keep their tyres together for the end from both Alonso and Raikkonen, perhaps the safety car did help them a little...
  Unlucky for the Mercedes duo, but that's racing chaps...

  typical, i was bored watching vettel run away with it and stopped watchng, then it seemed to come to life towards the end and miss it all. glad i didn't watch him win though.
