A fishmongers in Kuwait have found themselves in hot water after it was discovered that they were sticking googly eyes on old fish to make it look fresh.

I don't know how they thought they could get away with it because the eyes looked fucking ridiculous but they clearly thought they could pass off their stinking old trout for freshly caught fish. According to a local news station, the Kuwaiti ministry of commerce has since shut the shop down after dicovering their fishy tactics. I mean just look at this shit.

Obviously the people of Twitter loved the story

It's pretty clear that the world is a much better place if we just stick googly eyes to everything.
