Following Spurs capitulation yesterday, Sherwood has publicly come out and gone at his squad no holds barred.
So what are our thoughts? Was this a clever thing to do in that it helps spurs to galvanise for the remaining fixtures, or is this the end of Sherwood's honeymoon period and the beginning of them coming of the rails?

It's how every manager should be, if the team has been shit then what's the point in fannying around it like most managers do nowadays? Sherwood got a lot of respect from me for that. It's something I wish Moyes did instead of his constant luck blaming and praising of awful performances

Well he said this -
You can’t legislate for the capitulation – you can’t have that. Lack of characters, too many of them too nice to each other. You need to show a bit more guts and not want to be someone’s mate all the time. They need to drag it out of each other. It hurts me and I won’t forget about this when we hit the motorway, but some might. We’ve got the Europa League on Thursday and we owe the fans a performance.
“We let them down again on the big occasion. You won’t finish in the top four if you don’t beat top teams. You’re miles away unless you beat the top teams. There have been too many blips. The club talks about fourth. Wake up.”
I'd say a reality check and realism from him. However there is a danger - AVB ? - that he will loose the dressing room with too much public slamming. Moyes at Man Utd doesnt do it and likely to keep his job and players ??

Nothing wrong with taking a pop once in a while if the situation demands it.
It's just always about guts, character or having a go with him though, and that'll only get you so far.
He needs to have a look at himself and how he sets the side up against the better teams in the division. Not the first time they've taken a pasting against a top four side this year is it?

I like Sherwood's approach to manaement in the emotional and leader sense. The no nonsense 'this was shit' 'that was good' is so refreshing in place of the normal padding words from other managers.
However, I fear he is lacking in the actual football management and tactic side. I still feel like giving him a bit longer to see if he can pick it up. But I don't know how long he has left at current standards.

I think his honeymoon period is coming to an end. He has relied on heavily on the passion and feel good factor but that cant be relied on in the long term. Tactically he is naive and this inexperience will show.

Well I guess it didnt do much good considering tottenham's europa league result tonight against benfica. They lost 3-1 at home and face a difficult return trip. Feel good factor starting to go at the lane lol

Well they have lost their last two games now since the infamous public outburst. Admittedly they were unlucky against Arsenal but I think Sherwood is really feeling the pressure now
