  In this new i’m guessing dystopian Sci-fi we see the separation of work and home life through a form of locational lobotomy. In Severance, Adam Scott plays one of many employees all of whom seem to only have a singular letter for their last name, who opt in to have a surgery that means once they are at home they have no memory of work and vice versa. From the feel of the trailer this is definitely going to be somewhat of a sinister piece. Check it out on Apple TV.

  This looks good, like really really good. I love the how visual feel and tone is futuristic but not that distant that it doesn't feel real. The concept is insane, and something that I think a lot of people can relate to in some weird way. Most people probably already have a massive distinction between their work life and their personal life, and never let them crossover with each other. It'll be interesting to see how this plot breaks and concludes over the course of this series.

  This show is phenomenal. Hats off to Dan Erickson for creating this show and how it touches upon the relentlessness of corporations, capitalism and the blurred lines between our work/life balances. Ben Stiller's directing is subtlety masterful, like in the way that it visualizes the transitions from innie to outie with a dolly zoom. Theodore Shapiro's score is hauntingly beautiful. Jeremy Hindle's brutalist production design is gorgeously eerie. The opening credits are wonderfully dystopian. Adam Scott is mostly known for his comedic work, but he plays the emotionally dramatic tones in this series beautifully in Mark's professional life and personal life. The supporting cast is stellar. Patricia Arquette, John Tuturro, Christopher Walken are already legends and this show is just further proof of that fact. Britt Lower, Dichan Lachmann and Tramell Tillman are just as amazing too. I have to give a special mention to Zack Cherry for being the levity of the series but not only that when the story needs he to be dramatic, he does it with so much ease too. I NEED SEASON TWO IMMEDIATELY.

  I'm so happy it's back, but there is still so long to wait. The addition of Christie to the cast is very intriguing. The further we delve into this mystery and observing the characters trying to piece it all together is so amazing.
