  What, for you, has been the scariest moment you've experienced while playing a video game? Was it resident evil, doom, something unexpected, share with the group!

  I should start by mentioning my own really. When I first played resident evil nemesis, he burst into a corridor and started chasing me unexpectedly, I ran out of the room, too scared to deal with it!

  id have to say playing the first F.E.A.R. game, theres a moment where you turn to climb down a ladder and theres a little girl standing there as you turn, but the whole game was full of scary moments, lol

  I`ve not really ever been totally scared by games (or films, maybe i`m a bit desensitised lol), but one of the creepier moments i`ve had playing a game was Resident Evil 4 when you first encounter the Regenerators, totally hated those things and when something can grab you after you`ve blown it`s head off it`s creepy.
  Dead Space 1 and 2 have some creepy moments as well.

  lol just shows how long i've been playing video games then, my scariest ones would be from like quake sort of times lol

  My scariest moment was playing Doom3 in the dark with my headphones on and not noticing my mate sneak up behind me, he smacked the back of my chair so hard i almost shat myself!

  Mine has to be Resident Evil 3, when everything is nice and calm then all of a sudden Nemesis jumps out and says 'STARS' and chases you down like a beast! That got my heart racing every bloody time!

  Maybe it's because I have a fear of the ocean but I used to brick it if I ever went too deep on Echo the Dolphin. Even more so when you had to go across that one level covered in ice and sharks. The scariest bit though was meeting the blue whale even though he was good, the size of him was crazy.
