If I’ve spent a particularly vigorous month masturbating and just so happen to wear out my dildo, I’d probably just pop online and order a new one. I wouldn’t nip down to my local Sainsbury’s and grab one off the shelf along with my milk and eggs.
But apparently, the supermarket giants think that people would rather take a sex toy up to a spotty teenage cashier that anonymously order online. Sainsbury’s have just announced that they are launching a new sex toy range including: the Rose Gold Bullet, £8.00; Rose Blush Bullet, £12.00 and the Aura Silver Vibrator and Massager for £15.00.
Here’s what Paul Mills-Hicks, food commercial director at Sainsbury’s, had to say about the launch. Fuck knows what a male food commercial director knows about dildos but hey-ho:
Quote:Findings from our Living Well Index showed that sex life satisfaction has a big impact on a person’s sense of wellbeing. By introducing a new range at affordable prices, we hope to give customers the option to buy quickly and conveniently in an environment they feel comfortable with.
I mean they are cheap, so they definitely have that advantage over the extortionate prices online. Who knows, it might be a wise move. I guarantee there will be a few prudes and feminists making a big old stink about it. The toys will be available to purchase in selected stores from 4th November.
