Russian's take part in the annual slapping contest

Only the Russian's could come up with a ridiculous sport like slapping the living shit out of your opponant. The slapping contest is a pretty huge annual event in Russia and this year it took place at the Sarychev Power Expo – an event that promotes patriotism, power sports and strongmen.



If you thought slapping someone round the face was for pussies, you are very much mistaken, because this is about as brutal as it gets. Take a look:



What a bunch of plebs. You wouldn't catch me standing there waiting for someone to pelt me across the face. This years winner was a guy named Yuriy Kuzmin and he bagged himself a prize of 25,000 roubles for having the hadest slap, which might sound a lot but it's actually only 300 quid. Doesn't really seem worth it does it?!
