Anyone seen this yet? thought it might be good but after seeing a couple of trailers im not sure! should i spend a £10r next week in ASDA or is it shite? i notice the guy who plays James Hunt is the guy who plays Thor! need i say more?

Well i just watched it and to be honest i almost turned it off, the first 40 mins or so are all a bit ''Hey im James, international fanny magnet playboy, hes Niki, ratty Austrian with a dodgy Sweedish accent'' But when the 76' season started it go a lot better, the racing sequences were a well put together montage of actual footage and CGI/stunt drivers whatever, and it was good to see Sheckters 6 wheel Tyrrell again, i wonder what happened to the 6 wheel idea? maybe it was just as shite as it looked.
Anyway, not a great movie but if you can get through the first three quaters of an hour its worth sticking with for the second half.

me being a f1 fan i loved the story and the way they played the rivalry was very good they did leave a bit out but the whole lauda accident was covered pretty much how it happend overall i enjoyed the film i wanna see one done about senna

I watched it whilst sipping a Gin and Tonic courtesy of Mr Branson somewhere over the Atlantic.

Got me off to sleep quite nicely.

If you mean this it can be picked up in asda now for a £5r and its miles better than Thor in a racing car!

Need to see this movie since i love all the older F1 stuff, also need to see senna. Cant stand any of the modern F1 Stuff, these are drivers from the time when if you lost a second in concentration, the car would kill you

Id recomend you watch Senna,.... Rush as i said in an earlier post once the 76 season gets going its alright with the real footage ect and im sure its factually accurate in asmuch as Lauda's injuries and recovery, BUT the acting leaves a lot to be desired, ive never seen the guy who plays Lauda before and i dont suppose he was to bad even though his Austrian accent was like the Sweedish muppet hoygle floygle shnoygle doygle! on the other hand Thor was and is as convincing as Zac Dingle in Emerdale! i think i read somewhere he failed the audition for a part in Corrie as Rita's ironing board, apparantly they couldnt stop him from standing legs apart hands on hips calling for his hammer in a deep voice! If you do get Rush, wait till it gets down onto the £5r shelf, shouldnt be long, FF through the first 40 mins and watch it from there, you really dont need the pantomime at the begining to know whats going on.

Yeah, a movie about senna would be amazing as long as its done correctly and isnt over exaggerated, although it would certainly not be easy to exaggerate the way senna drove! haha!
