  Robben's escaped punishment from fifa after apparently admitting to diving. I'd like to see players get banned for blatant dives, but it's tough to tell in some cases. Do u guys reckon this was a pen vs mexico?

  he definitely dived in that match, but i think the penalty was not a dive, or maybe like a sort of half dive but in my mind no doubt that is WAS a penalty so it was fair. i mean if you wanna punish Robben, should then punish dozens and dozens more guys too... he's not doing anything more than many other players (unlike Luis Suarez lol)

  If they clamp down on it hard people will stop doing it, remember tackles from behind use to be frequent, as soon as it became straight red you very rarely saw it.

  in that case they should do it during the match and not have to have some committee every time to decide punishment afterwards, cuz i mean why are they singling out arjen robben? diving happens in almost every game..

  Shaqiri's dive getting no coverage, commentators even tried to pretend it wasn't a dive and somehow put the blame on the defender. This is why nothing will ever get done, far too many hypocrites.

  I think you can only do it on the really obvious dives and it's persistent offenders. It is starting to get stupid now and nothing is done to stop it. The best now is the screaming, it's embarrassing.
