  was that the program on bbc2 or maybe three, with miranda hart? yeah it wasn't nearlly as good but i thought it had a few funny moments.
  
  hmmm fav episode is a real hard one as there are so many good ones, gunmen of the appocalypse is always worth a watch, as are backwards and back to reality

  Oh yeah back to reality, gotta love that one, good old dwayne dibley lol,
  also there`s that one with the duplicating machine that creates two red dwarfs one good and one bad that one is brilliant,
  can`t remember the name of the episode which is odd because i usually can.

  That`s the one, nice one mate, for some reason couldn`t remember the name of that episode.

  
  might be the other way round, but either way a good episode

  Close enough lol, also got to love any episode that features ace rimmer and there a few.

  Thought i'd revive this thread since i read something about the next series that i think some of the other red dwarf fans will like,
  apparently they're going back to filming it in front of a live audience, and they're rebuilding all the models and sets which is excellent news.

  That sounds pretty good. I think the most difficult thing about trying to revive it now is getting the old feeling back, making it seem authentic so we can accept it as the 'Red Dwarf of old'. It sounds like they are trying to do that which I definitely appreciate.

  well it should at least address two of the main faults with the specials on dave, that there was way to much cgi (and not great cgi either) and that there was no laughter.
  
  i just hope they fix the other problem those episodes had, which was that the story/writing was terrible!

  Even though i did like Back to earth, i think the story problems were caused in a big way by the time restrictions of craig charles still under active contract with ( whatever soap he's in i forget it's name),
  and the fact that they had no sets, but they don't have that problem now since rebuilt sets and models and craig charles being able to devote more time to it, so i have confidence that the next series will be back to the old standard.

  I`d love to go and see it recorded live myself, sadly it will probably be in london and expensive which means i`ll have no chance and will be way too expensive for me, but i`m betting it would be amazing to see it filmed live first though.

  it will most likely be in london, but i highly doubt it would be expensive, in fact every show i've ever been to see recorded has always had the tickets available for free so i can't see why red dwarf would be any different

  I'd still have a problem if it was free though mainly because i live so far away from london it would take a while to get there and it would have to be overnight and everything but regardless i'm definately going to
  have a proper look into it i'd love to see red dwarf filmed live.
