These aren't new, just came across them the other day and found them entertaining.

Mary Poppins, the horror version

Home Alone, the Horror/Thriller version

(tried to imbed the videos but it wouldn't play along so will just have the links).

Just goes to show what difference it makes to have different music and slightly edited scenes can make.

Holy shit, i actually got scared on the Mary poppins video, i didnt know that a few edited parts and change of music can be so scary! I literally almost shat myself when i saw her head spinning! But for the second clip, home alone, that wasnt as scary as the movie isnt scary at all! So there was no way that movie could have turned into a horror clip haha good find

They are of varying success the recut trailers, there is also one for 'IT' recut to be a family film

Not sure that one works as well personally, Pennywise is a bit too creepy to look friendly
And Silence of the lambs as a romance
