  I watched this after FantasticMR recommended it, and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tone of the film perfectly balanced horror, thriller, suspense, comedy and action. Weaving is great in this and I'll be sure to check her out in FantasticMR's other recommended films The Babysitter and Mayhem. The supporting cast were great too, especially the groom's aunt played by Nicky Guadagni.

  Glad you liked it Clay! Get on those other two, pretty sure you’ll enjoy those as well. Also, have you seen ‘The Hunt’?

  @FantasticMR you'll be glad to hear that they're making a sequel. I was fine with it being a one and done, but if they can avoid the fate of most sequels and aim for Aliens and Terminator 2 as benchmarks, then I think it'll be OK. I'm unsure as to where they can take the story but maybe it'll be about the repercussions of the ritual not being successful, and the relentless avoidance in a confined or secluded area with an allotted time, to battle against it being completed.

The actress and filmmaking collective comprised of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella are reuniting to make Ready or Not 2, a sequel to their 2019 dark comedy horror hit, for Searchlight Pictures. No take or plot details were given but Busick and Murphy are returning to write, as well.

  I have to say that I’m very nervous about this one Clay. I guess it’s easy to ignore if it’s no good (Silent Hill 2 does not exist to me) but I would love this one to come out swinging. Samara does seem to care about what work she takes on so I would hope that she feels confident enough in the script rather than hoping for a cash cow.
  
  
  While we’re on the topic of great picks from Samara Weaving I enjoyed ‘Azreal’ over the weekend. I didn’t realise it had come to streaming so quickly and even better is on sale on Prime for £3.99. The movie is almost completely silent and see Weaving on the run from a ***** that is hell bent on her post rapture sacrifice. Worth a watch.
