ok, so do people no longer look at the date of a post or anything? seems to be a massive rise in people replying to posts that are at least months old for no other reason than to get a point/they're too dumb to look at the dates.

there was a post with someone asking about how to take screen caps that was started back in march and had a few answers with different methods back then and someone has just replied to it now telling them how to do it. it would be one thing if it hadn't had any replys with help but all the new post did was say the same as the previous posts and then recommend yet another different programme, totally pointless and just drags dead threads back up to the top again.

could they not implement something where if a thread hasn't had any new posts for a while and is not a pic of GIF thread or something then it get's closed to stop new posts.

Not quite a rant but just something i want to say....
Is anyone else in the position that they just dont have much else to say now on this forum?
I come on the forum every couple of days and find that lots of caps have been updated/posted. Theres only so many times i can comment on a cap saying "wow, she looks good." Of course she looks good, otherwise she wouldnt be on here!
What im trying to say is: Apart from caps, theres not that much else on this forum anymore. The problem is, i dont know what to add to rectify it.
Or maybe i need to take a longer break from the site?

i totally agree mate, there was a time, many moons ago, when the forum was great and there were lots of different discussions on different subjects that you could join in with, but nowadays it just seems like the forum is a slightly elaborate pic porn site because as you said all that's really posted is tons of pics of girls from the shows.

seems to be that nearly all the posts that aren't caps of shows are posts made by new members asking questions that have already been posted multiple times and answered multiple times but they've not bothered searching or it's them posting just for points ( a lot recently have been starting posts that consist solely of "i love this girl she's so hot, what do you think?") or the other thing a lot of people seem to be doing recently is finding a thread that was started last year some time, with it's last post months ago and adding a pointless post to that and all that serves to do is get them there precious point and bump old and dead threads up to the top of the forum again.

Ive said it a few times before, that all posts should be checked and verified by someone before it makes it onto the site. Now i know this may be an extremely boring job for someone to do but it would save the forum from spammers or people creating new threads when a previous thread has already been set up.
The break from this forum seems more likely the more i think about it.

the other annoying thing is the way you look at some new members posts and literally every single one has a picture attached, even if it's just a stupid picture of a smiley face emoticon as it means they get the extra point for attaching the picture.

sometime's i'm surprised they still keep the points thing the way so many people abuse it/exploit it. but then again i'm pretty sure if they stopped the points thing the forum would pretty much die over night the way it is now.

that particular person has done that 4 times now although this is first time I believe he has added pics. the first time he made and redeemed 1 min, then did the same just after (same day), redeemed another 1 min, made another post in the Sexy Redhead thread, realised he was't gonna get anymore points then buggered off. The other day he did the same for another minutes redemption, and now this morning this thing with pics???
That needs more moderating as per the forum 'rules' state, but never seem to be enforced.

I agree but also disagree with you both on your points raised;
Firstly disagree about vetting posts before they are posted.. that's not what a democratic forum is about, you can have your say obviously, but if it IS just drivel and obviously posted for point grabbing then the moderation needs to be enforced, and the posts removed, points deducted etc... Start doing this and you will have a lot cleaner forum, less clutter, and actually may become sensible.
You guys have been on here a while, so I imagine have seen it get a lot worse, I have only been here a few months but already see it deteriorate into mostly rubbish.

The old posts thing again as you have said, certain ones should remain active for people like me for example, a new subscriber comes in and can add to a thread like books or similar for example as it can still be relevant. The ones asking for info or making a comment from months ago, should be closed off by admins, or even removed after a while as they serve no purpose as do the ones currently being posted anew for the same info but people too lazy to look around or perform a search!!

Also if people like you guys stop contributing (you don't have to like everyone here!), then the forum is going to go dead, with only the nonsense and the neverending caps from the shows threads being active.
Which brings onto the next point, people making the wow she's hot comments all over, start deleting these as well? give thanks or provide better contributions or bugger off.
However I suspect the points system is designed to bring in punters who get a few free mins but then spend more on calls, maybe good marketing by rampant, but unless they police the forum better, it's just gibberish for the rest of us who actually want a decent forum. Unless of course that now the forum has grown and become too much for the current set up of admins etc can effectively handle?

I've also tried to add some hopefully meaningful threads but there does seem to be a bit of apathy here in this forum.
Fair enough if people don't want to add anything and are content with viewing what is posted, then the least they could do is provide a few more thanks (as has been mentioned by you all before) for the people who spend their time and effort making contributions!!!

But his one 'Janesy' had the audacity to make 20 posts with just random letters, then redeem their 1 min (see below), then go offline??? Taking the piss or what!

edit: wait , as I write this edit, they are back online again!!! spending some time reading 'Rampant Tube vids not working on iPad' thread !!
